ABOUT RECITALS
Recitals once or twice a year serve an important role in music training. They give students confidence with live performance, and allow each student to hear their fellow students play.
Each piece mastered increases a child’s confidence, and showcasing their talents at recitals can boost self-esteem just as much as winning a sports competition. Recitals provide direction and purpose to the student’s musical studies.
Playing in a recital is well worth the time and effort, and students continue to reap the benefits long after the performance is over.
